Had a nice weekend going to Central Florida without being there for work. Hung out with the family, saw one of Iron Maiden’s only two US shows on this leg of the tour (somewhat pictured here).
Steve & Co. have aged better than almost anyone in the business — they maintain the energy of guys less than half their age (especially Bruce Dickinson, both his voice and rock jumps are better than ever), but never seem to be in denial that they’re in the “mature rockers” category now. Well, maybe Janick still lives in the 80s, but that’s alright.
